I have a standard form that I have to affix to invoices, etc that requires me to enter account,po, etc. I have been doing this in the past using adhesive labels. I would like to have a master-object that is 'form' in nature that i can drop onto any word document, fill out with appropriate info (kind of like a 'Rubber Stamp' - any possibly set it up globally so that fellow coworkers can use. My ultimate goal is to cease 'printing, coding, scanning and then emailing' this type of task - I would like to do this all from a desktop considering almost all my receipts are via email. Any takers??? Ps I am willing to explore other programs to do this (ie some sort of adobe 'form stamp' or something. Anything to help me avoid the long task of printing, coding, scanning. There is a commercial program that does this, I think called Stamper. I do it using AutoText entries that I create. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Most of them (not intended to be filled in but just to appear on the document like COPY) are WordArt saved as AutoText. To have something that had to be filled in I would put it as a TextBox with perhaps Text or Calendar Content Controls (on the Developer Tab). No developer tab? To use AutoText in Word 2007 I would use the Add-In from Greg Maxey. See It is called Building Block Enhanced Gallery Tools, I think. AutoText can be stored in a that can be shared. It becomes an Add-In that works in the background. You insert AutoText by typing at least four unique characters of the AutoText entry name and pressing the F3 key.
